In Honour of my Interpreters

During decades of global travel I have been blessed by the services of excellent interpreters, both male and female, who have rendered my sermons and lectures into many languages. However, I wrote poems about just a few of them. As Bernard Kaps expressed it in Poems Are Like Grandchildren, ‘they come close in their own time’! I offer a selection of just three in honour of them all. However, the first is in fact in prose. Well, I am a natural story-teller; I am not really a poet as such, although I have written a whole lot of poems!
